Obverse description Laureate head of Artemis facing right, rendered in fine Hellenistic style with elegantly coiffed hair secured beneath a laurel wreath; the quiver and bow are visible over her shoulder. The portrait is executed with naturalistic modelling of the facial features, characteristic of second-century BC Pamphylian coinage. The field is plain and the design is set within a dotted border.

Reverse description Artemis standing in three-quarter pose to the left, draped in a long chiton, holding a sceptre in her right hand and a wreath in her left. A deer stands to her left, its head turned to the right. The genitive legend APTEMIΔOΣ descends in the right field and ΠEPΓAIAΣ descends in the left field, identifying the coin as issued in honour of Artemis of Perge, the principal civic deity of the city.
