| Reverse description | Plain, undecorated quadripartite incuse square formed by two intersecting diagonal grooves meeting at a central point, creating four recessed triangular compartments of alternating depth — two deeper and two shallower — in the standard early archaic mill-sail pattern. The incuse is sharply struck and deeply impressed, characteristic of the earliest coinage technique employed throughout the northern Aegean in the late Archaic period. The surrounding field is flat and unlettered. |
