| Obverse description | Helmeted head of Athena facing right, depicted in fine Hellenistic style. The goddess wears a crested Corinthian helmet pushed back on her head, revealing her facial features with a straight nose and almond-shaped eye rendered in high relief. Loose wavy locks of hair fall beneath the helmet onto the neck. The flan is slightly irregular, characteristic of hand-struck Pamphylian coinage of the period. |
