Obverse description Laureate head of Apollo facing right, rendered in fine Hellenistic style with long, flowing wavy hair adorned with a laurel wreath. A kithara (lyre) is visible behind the neck, serving as a divine attribute of the god. The facial features are naturalistic and idealized, with a slightly parted mouth and a pronounced profile characteristic of the Myrinaean coinage of the second century BC. The flan is broad and slightly irregular, with the design well-centered in the field.
