Reverse description A stylized horseman advancing left on a rearing horse, depicted in the abstract Celtic La Tène tradition derived from the Philip II tetradrachm prototype. The rider, rendered schematically with an oversized, bulbous head and simplified torso, holds a long staff or spear upright in the right hand. The horse is shown in a dynamic rearing posture with exaggerated musculature and a flowing tail. Scattered pellets and abstract geometric or vegetal symbols fill the field to the left and below the horse. Greek-derived lettering appears in the lower field beneath the horse, partially legible as fragmentary inscription.
