The goddess's eye is rendered in the archaic frontal convention despite the profile orientation, a distinctive stylistic hallmark of Athenian coinage. The neck and facial features are rendered with characteristic classical Athenian die-cutting, displaying almond-shaped eye, prominent nose, and slightly parted lips. The cheek guard of the helmet frames the face, with the bowl of the helmet rising above. The field around the head is plain and unlettered.

背面描述	Owl of Athena (Little Owl, Athena noctua) standing in three-quarter facing position to the right, with detailed feathering rendered by closely packed pellets across the body and wings. To the upper left, an olive sprig with two leaves and a berry is depicted, accompanied by a crescent moon in the left field, both serving as civic symbols of Athens. The ethnic inscription ΑΘΕ appears to the right of the owl in vertical arrangement. The composition is contained within a shallow incuse square typical of hammered Athenian coinage of the late Classical period.
