Obverse description Helmeted head of Athena facing right, rendered in the classical Athenian New Style tradition. The goddess wears a crested Attic helmet, the bowl of which is decorated with a griffin in relief. The portrait exhibits strong, idealized features characteristic of late Hellenistic Athenian coinage, with fine engraving detail visible in the helmet crest and cheek guards.

Reverse description Owl of Athena standing three-quarter face, wings closed, perched atop an amphora bearing the magistrate's letter B in the field below. The secondary control mark ΣΦ appears beneath the amphora, and an elephant is depicted to the right as an additional control symbol. The entire reverse type is enclosed within an olive wreath, a hallmark of New Style Athenian coinage, with the magistrate names ΑΝΤΙΟΧΟΣ, ΝΙΚΟΓΕΝΗΣ, and ΝΙΚΩΝ inscribed in multiple lines around the central design.
