| Descrizione del dritto | Helmeted head of Athena facing right, rendered in fine high relief. The goddess wears a Corinthian helmet with a prominent, elaborately crested plume whose flowing locks cascade behind the neck. The facial features are finely modelled in the Hellenistic tradition, with a strong profile, cheek guard raised, and the nape adorned with loose wavy tresses. The field is plain, with no legend, consistent with the civic coinage of Side. |
