| Beschrijving voorzijde | Eagle standing right in profile, rendered with finely detailed feathering on wings and body, the head turned slightly forward with a hooked beak. The bird stands on a plain exergual line within a beaded border. To the upper left of the eagle, the Punic legend 'mtv' (Motye) is inscribed in three characters, identifying the issuing city. The style reflects strong Sicilian Greek artistic influence adapted to Punic iconographic convention. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | A large crab rendered in frontal view, occupying the full field of the flan, with prominent claws raised symmetrically to either side and eight legs splayed outward. The carapace is rendered with bold, rounded relief, and three wavy lines below the body suggest the sea. The design fills the flan nearly to the beaded border, demonstrating a strong Sicilian Greek typological tradition as found on contemporaneous coinage of Akragas and other western Sicilian mints. |
