Obverse description Laureate head of Apollo facing right, rendered in fine Hellenistic style with long, flowing hair elaborately arranged in wavy locks falling to the neck and bound with a laurel wreath. The facial features are idealized and youthful, with a sharply defined profile, strong brow, and delicate lips characteristic of late Hellenistic engraving. The surface of the coin is well-preserved, with the high relief of the portrait lending sculptural depth to the design. A small engraver's mark or monogram appears to the left in the field.
