Obverse description Helmeted head of Artemis (or a female deity) in right-facing profile, wearing a Corinthian-style helmet adorned with a laurel wreath. The hair is rendered in fine flowing locks beneath the helmet, and the facial features are executed in a refined early Classical style. The flan is irregular, as typical of hammered coinage of this period, with the design occupying the full field without a surrounding legend.
