Obverse description Bare head of the nymph Kyme facing right, rendered in fine Hellenistic style with naturalistic features. The hair is elaborately dressed, drawn back in rich, wavy locks bound by a taenia, with corkscrew curls falling along the neck. The portrait occupies the full flan with no legend, the field left plain, emphasizing the delicate modeling of the face with its straight nose and slightly parted lips.
