Reverse description Heracles stands facing, nude, his head turned to the left, with a muscular, powerfully modelled physique rendered in the Hellenistic manner. In his right hand he holds a club resting on the ground, and over his left arm he carries the Nemean lion skin. The figure stands on a ground line, flanked on either side by a two-line Greek legend reading ΗΡΑΚΛΕΟΥΣ ΣΩΤΗΡΟΣ to the right and ΘΑΣΙΩΝ to the left, with additional text along the lower exergual area. The composition closely follows the Lysippan type of Heracles.
