| Obverse description | Radiate head of Helios rendered in three-quarter face, turned slightly to the right, displayed with remarkable sculptural relief. The deity's youthful visage features finely engraved wavy hair swept back from the forehead and cascading in thick curling locks around the face and neck, characteristic of the early Rhodian coinage style. The modeling of the facial features — deep-set eyes, straight nose, and slightly parted lips — reflects the high artistic standard of late 5th-century Greek die engraving. No legend or border is present on the obverse field. |

| Reverse description | A fully open rose with detailed petals occupies the center of the design, with a budding rose stem curving to the left. In the left field, the letter Phi (Φ) appears above a six-pointed star, serving as magistrate or control marks. The entire composition is set within a square incuse punch, a hallmark of early Rhodian tetradrachm coinage. The ethnic legend ΡΟΔΙΟΝ, denoting the Rhodians, is inscribed within the incuse square. |
