Reverse description A stag standing to the right in high relief, its head turned back to the left and antlered, set within a shallow incuse square. To the right of the stag, a grapevine with heart-shaped ivy leaves and clusters descends vertically along the field, serving as a secondary symbol. The Greek ethnic legend ΑΙΝΙ is inscribed in large letters across the upper field. The composition is bold and well-centred, reflecting the accomplished engraving tradition of Ainos during the late fifth century BC.
