Obverse description Bare head of the young Heracles facing right, rendered in fine Hellenistic style, wearing the lion's skin headdress with the scalp drawn over the crown and the gaping muzzle visible above the forehead. The mane falls in deeply engraved, naturalistic locks framing the face, while the knotted forepaws are tied at the neck. The facial features are finely modelled with a strong profile, prominent nose, and parted lips, consistent with the Alexandrine iconographic tradition.
