Reverse description Draped bust of Queen Erato facing left, portrayed in the Hellenistic style befitting an Armenian royal consort and co-ruler. The bust occupies the central field, with the Greek legend encircling the periphery identifying her as the sister of Tigranes. The die work reflects the Hellenized court tradition of the late Artaxiad dynasty, and the flan exhibits the typical irregularity of hand-struck Armenian bronze coinage.
