| Obverse description | Jugate draped busts of the Dioskouroi facing, rendered in low relief within a beaded border. Each twin wears a pileus (the characteristic conical cap of Castor and Pollux), their faces depicted frontally in a symmetrical composition typical of Hellenistic civic bronze coinage. The busts are positioned side by side, filling the flan, with drapery indicated at the shoulders. The style is characteristic of the Ekbatana mint's production under Seleukos IV Philopator. |
