Obverse description Laureate head of Zeus facing right, depicted with flowing locks of hair rendered in fine detail and a thick beard, all within a dotted border. The portrait is executed in the Hellenistic tradition, with strong facial features and a commanding profile typical of civic bronze coinage from northern Syria. The laurel wreath, symbol of divine authority, is clearly articulated around the brow.

Reverse description Zeus enthroned left, his body draped, extending his right hand forward to present Nike, the goddess of victory, while his left hand rests upon a long scepter. The composition follows the established Hellenistic iconographic convention for the supreme deity in a position of majesty and sovereignty. A Greek civic legend occupies the field, identifying the issuing city. The date letters GKS appear in the field, referencing the Seleucid era dating system employed at Seleucia Pieria.
