Obverse description Laureate and bearded head of Zeus facing right, rendered in bold high relief with finely articulated curling hair and a full beard composed of multiple layered locks. The portrait exhibits the vigorous, Hellenistic artistic tradition characteristic of the Antiochene mint. The field is largely plain, and the coin is bordered by a beaded or dotted inner ring near the edge. No legend appears on the obverse.
