| 正面描述 | Zeus depicted standing facing left in full figure, nude, holding a small Nike in his outstretched right hand and a long scepter in his left. The deity is rendered in the Hellenistic style characteristic of Achaean League bronze coinage, with a partial magistrate's name legend visible in the field. The flan is irregular and the strike moderately worn, consistent with a circulated bronze issue. |

The Achaean League's bronze coinage functioned as a regional fiduciary currency, circulating across member poleis at a time when the League was navigating increasingly fraught relations with Rome. Lousoi itself was a small Arcadian sanctuary city, its inclusion in the League's minting arrangement more a reflection of religious prestige — centered on the cult of Artemis Hemera — than economic weight.
The terminal date of 146 BC is not administrative but violent: the Roman destruction of Corinth and the dissolution of the League following the Achaean War ended this coinage abruptly.
