| Obverse description | Facing Boiotian shield rendered in high relief, its characteristic double-curved cutouts visible at left and right, occupying the full field of the flan. The convex boss of the shield is prominently raised at center, conveying a sense of three-dimensional volume. The incuse border of the shield's rim is boldly delineated, consistent with the archaic die-cutting tradition of Boiotian federal coinage. |

| Reverse description | A horizontal club depicted pointing to the left occupies the center of the field, its knotted surface rendered in shallow relief. Above the club, a circular pellet-in-annulet device appears in the upper field. Below the club, a single ivy leaf is shown pointing to the left, accompanied by the initial Θ (theta), serving as the ethnic abbreviation for Thebes. The composition is characteristic of the small fractional silver coinage of Theban federal issues of the Classical period. |
