Reverse description Crowned royal shield of France bearing three fleurs-de-lis in pale, surmounted by a large fleur-de-lis crown, and flanked on either side by a crowned capital letter H, the royal monogram of Henry II. The entire device is enclosed within an inner beaded circle, with the mint mark N positioned at the base of the shield below the crown. The outer legend carries the Christogram invocation, separated from the central device by the beaded border.
