Obverse description Draped bust of Frederick Henry, Prince of Orange, facing right, with curly hair and a short beard, set within a plain inner circle. The effigy is rendered in a bold, high-relief hammered style typical of early 17th-century feudal coinage. A circular Latin legend surrounds the portrait, separated from the bust by a beaded inner border. The outer rim features a toothed or milled edge characteristic of hammered testons of the period.
