Beschrijving keerzijde The central field carries a full-colour reproduction of Affandi's expressionist canvas Adu Ayam di Bali (Cockfight in Bali), executed in bold swirling brushwork characteristic of the artist's style, with the painting's title printed vertically alongside. At the upper right appear the PERUM PERURI and SECURITY PRINTING legends together with the Peruri logo, while the denomination DUA RIBU SATU and the year 2001 are repeated at the lower right. A red stylised rosette motif and a painter's palette device appear at the lower left above a serial number prefix, all set over a warm beige and soft-green guilloche underprint with interlaced wave patterns.

Opmerkingen

Perum Peruri — the state security printing works — has produced Indonesian banknotes since 1971, and by 2001 was well established as the sole supplier of currency to Bank Indonesia. A "Test Note" from this facility is a printer's internal production specimen, used to verify ink consistency, registration, and paper quality rather than for any monetary purpose. These are never officially released and rarely surface outside the printing works itself.

The Affandi attribution is notable: Affandi Koesoema (1907–1990) was Indonesia's most internationally recognized expressionist painter. His involvement would have predated this printing by over a decade.
