Description du revers Brown monochrome reverse on a light guilloche underprint, with a bold rectangular border enclosing the central design. The main vignette depicts a construction scene with heavy industrial machinery including cranes and earth-moving equipment at work on a railway or infrastructure project. The characters 练功专用 are printed in large format on both the left and right margins, flanking the central vignette, with small seal script cartouches below each. A row of floral ornaments runs along the lower border, with the date 二○○六年 centered within a panel at the foot.

Commentaires

China Construction Bank issued these practice notes specifically for counter staff training — they are not legal tender and were never intended for public circulation. The CCB dramatically expanded its retail branch network in the mid-2000s following its 2005 IPO on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, one of the largest bank flotations in history at the time, which created an acute demand for trained tellers across hundreds of new locations.

Collector interest is niche but genuine. Because most were used heavily in training rooms and then discarded, survivors in any decent state are harder to find than the print runs would suggest.
