Obverse description The token is divided by two horizontal grooves into three segments, with a central round hole. The upper segment features an oval cartouche containing a leaping deer in relief, flanked on either side by Hebrew calendar year characters. The lower segment bears the word 'telephone' in Hebrew above its Arabic equivalent, both in raised relief.

Reverse description The reverse depicts a stylized rotary telephone dial in relief, with the digits 0 through 9 each enclosed in individual circles arranged around the central hole.
