Descrizione del dritto	Central pellet enclosed within a plain circle, itself surrounded by an inner band of pseudo-Kufic script imitating Fatimid formulae. An outer marginal legend in Latin gives the ruler's name and title. The overall composition is concentric and symmetrical, typical of Southern Italian tarì coinage reflecting the dual cultural influences of Norman-Lombard and Islamic artistic traditions.

Descrizione del rovescio	Central pellet enclosed within a plain circle, surrounded by two concentric bands of pseudo-Kufic legend imitating Fatimid Imam titulature. The radiating sunburst or stylised floral motif visible in the central field is characteristic of Amalfitan and Salernan tarì types derived from Fatimid quarter-dinars. The absence of figurative imagery and the reliance on calligraphic ornament reflect the strong Islamic monetary influence on eleventh-century Lombard coinage.
