The periphery retains traces of a marginal legend, partially off-flan due to the irregular hammered planchet. The die work is characteristic of late 14th-century Timurid coinage, with bold, well-formed letterforms filling the field. |

| 裏面の説明 | Central field bearing a bold square or rectilinear Kufic Arabic legend in multiple lines, with the mint name Jurjan and the regnal citation of Timur (Tamerlane) together with the nominal overlord Mahmud Khan. The inscription is framed by a dotted or beaded border, characteristic of Timurid hammered silver coinage of the late 14th century. The Kufic script is angular and geometric, contrasting with the cursive Naskh of the obverse. The date AH 793 (1391 CE) appears within or adjacent to the main legend. |
