| Obverse description | The obverse presents a multi-line Arabic calligraphic legend struck in bold relief across the field, reading 'Al-Sultan / Al-A'zam / Shah Rukh / Bahadur Khan,' conferring upon the ruler his full royal titulature. The script is executed in a fluid Naskh style characteristic of Timurid mint production. Decorative floral or geometric ornaments are visible between lines, serving as dividers. The flan is irregular in outline, consistent with hand-hammered manufacture typical of the period. No border or marginal legend is present, the inscription filling the entire field. |
