| Reverse description | Four-line Arakanese inscription in Burmese script occupying the full field of the coin, struck in high relief on an irregularly shaped hammered flan. The cursive characters are bold and closely spaced, covering the surface uniformly with no central motif or decorative border. The inscription repeats the royal titulature and regnal dating formula consistent with Arakanese royal coinage conventions. The legend reads in translation: 'Date 1104 in the Burmese era, Amarapura, Kingdom of the Lord of many white elephants.' Surface texture and flan shape are characteristic of hand-hammered silver tankah coinage from the Kingdom of Arakan. |
