| Obverse description | Epigraphic type with multi-line Arabic legend filling the field, divided by a horizontal line separating the upper and lower registers. The inscription, rendered in Naskh script, bears the royal titulature of the sultan. The entire design is contained within a plain circular border, with additional marginal legend running along the periphery. The flan is slightly irregular, consistent with hand-hammered manufacture typical of Delhi Sultanate billon coinage. |
