Obverse description Square hammered flan bearing Arabic inscriptions in three registers across the field, characteristic of the 'Sultan Bin' type issue of the Malwa Sultanate. The upper register displays the regnal epithet in bold Naskh script, with the word 'Sultan' prominently rendered in the central register. A lower register carries an additional line of Arabic legend. The field shows typical hammered texture with irregular flat striking surfaces and patinated copper surfaces with green oxidation.
