Reverse description Square reverse flan bearing the mint name and regnal year inscribed in Arabic Naskh script, disposed in two lines across the field. The upper line records the mint epithet 'Zarb Ujjain' (struck at Ujjain), while the lower line carries the Hijri regnal date corresponding to the year of issue. The lettering is boldly incuse relative to the flan surface, showing the vigorous but irregular strike typical of Mughal hammered copper coinage. The field is plain and undecorated, with edge irregularities resulting from hand-cut flan preparation. Green cuprite patina covers much of the surface.
