| 正面铭文 | (Translation: Cartouche: Kuch Kunji khan Fields: the very great sultan the victorious one may Allah on High perpetuate his reign and his sultanate and forever (May last) his kingdom / city (or populous) of Bukhara (exact meaning unknown)) |
| 背面描述 | The reverse is fully epigraphic, displaying the names of the four Rightly Guided Caliphs (al-Khulafa' al-Rashidun) arranged across the field in multiple lines of Arabic script, a common Sunni declaration of legitimacy on Shaybanid coinage. Each Caliph is identified by his name and honorific epithet: Ali ibn Abi Talib (al-Murtada), Abu Bakr al-Siddiq, Umar ibn al-Khattab (al-Faruq), and Uthman ibn Affan. The calligraphy is rendered in a bold, crowded style filling the flan to its edges, consistent with Central Asian hammered silver of the early sixteenth century. A circular marginal legend surrounds the central field, partially visible due to the irregular planchet. |
