| Obverse description | Central field dominated by the elaborate imperial tughra of Sultan Mahmud II, rendered in fine calligraphic style with characteristic loop, shafts, and extended arms. Small floral ornaments and star-like rosettes are scattered symmetrically around the tughra within a plain inner circle. The entire design is enclosed by a beaded outer border, lending the coin a refined, decorative appearance consistent with early 19th-century Ottoman gold coinage. |
