Obverse description Central field dominated by the elaborate imperial tughra of Sultan Mahmud II, rendered in fine calligraphic style with characteristic loop, shafts, and extended arms. Small floral ornaments and star-like rosettes are scattered symmetrically around the tughra within a plain inner circle. The entire design is enclosed by a beaded outer border, lending the coin a refined, decorative appearance consistent with early 19th-century Ottoman gold coinage.
