| Obverse description | Central field displays the crossed royal regalia of Poland — a sceptre and an orb-topped cross — arranged saltirewise beneath a large royal crown, symbolising the interregnum period between Polish monarchs. Below the crossed implements rests an orb surmounted by a cross. Flanking the central composition on either side are the supporters of the Toruń civic arms, rendered in high relief against a smooth field. The date 1 6 3 2 is inscribed in two pairs of numerals on either side of the crossed regalia. The encircling Latin legend DEVS PROVIDEBIT ('God will provide') arches across the upper periphery in bold raised lettering within a beaded inner border. |

| Reverse description | Central device features the elaborate armorial shield of the City of Toruń, depicting a crenellated city gate with three towers, rendered in fine detail with an arched gateway and masonry work. The shield is surmounted by a displayed eagle with spread wings, wearing a crown, serving as the civic crest. The arms are framed by ornate mantling. A Roman numeral I appears to the left of the shield in the field, indicating the denomination mark. The full circular Latin legend MONETA NOVA ARGENT CIVIT THORVNENSIS ('New silver coin of the City of Toruń') runs along the periphery within a beaded border, with the legend beginning at the top and reading clockwise. |
