| Beschrijving voorzijde | The obverse features a large central text panel enclosed within a wreath of oak branches bearing acorns, tied at the base. The multi-line Latin dedicatory inscription fills the central field entirely, reading a tribute to citizens who attempted to preserve Polish liberty against the conspiracy that overthrew the Constitution of 3 May 1791. A circular outer legend runs along the periphery of the coin, partially inverted at the base, forming a continuous Latin inscription praising civic virtue. The design is executed in a bold, deeply struck relief characteristic of late 18th-century Warsaw Mint production, with no figurative imagery — the composition relying entirely on epigraphy and decorative wreath motifs. |
