| Obverse description | Crowned draped bust of Augustus II (the Strong) facing right, wearing a royal crown and elaborate lace cravat with flowing wig of curled locks rendered in the Baroque style. The effigy is depicted in high relief with fine detail in the drapery and hair. A circular Latin legend surrounds the portrait, reading AUGUSTUS DEI GRATIA REX POLONIAE, with the Elector of Saxony title abbreviated on the left field. The field is otherwise plain, with the legend separated from the portrait by a dotted border. |

| Reverse description | Central field displays the elaborate crowned royal cypher of Augustus II — an interlaced double 'AR' monogram surmounted by a royal crown — flanked on either side by supporters in the Baroque manner, with the Saxon arms (barry of ten or and sable) incorporated within the lower shield element. The Roman numeral VI appears above the monogram, denoting the denomination of six groszy. Mint official initials 'L·P' are placed in the lower field beneath the monogram. The date 1706 is divided across the upper field to left and right of the crown. A circular Latin legend surrounds the design, referencing the Lithuanian and Ruthenian ducal titles. |
