| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field displays the Polish eagle displayed, with spread wings and a crowned head, bearing the Jagiellonian dynastic shield on its breast. The eagle is rendered in the late Gothic hammered style typical of the Sigismund I coinage. Surrounding the central device is a beaded inner circle, with a circular Latin legend reading SIGISMVN REX POLO TOC (Sigismundus Rex Poloniae Totius) running along the outer border. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central field bears the armorial shield of the city of Elbląg (Elbing), depicting the Teutonic cross above crossed swords and the city's heraldic device, flanked by the mintmaster's initials. Above the shield the Roman numeral VI denotes the denomination of six groszy. The surrounding Latin legend, separated by a beaded circle, reads GROSSVS CIVIT ELBINV with the date 1535 (or 1536), identifying the issuing city and year of striking. |
