Reverse description Central field bears a shield depicting the city arms of Toruń (Thorn): a fortified gate flanked by two towers with battlements, rendered in detailed Gothic relief, symbolizing the town's status as the principal mint of Royal Prussia. The shield is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, with a Gothic uncial legend encircling the periphery of the flan. The style is consistent with late-medieval hammered coinage of the Prussian shilling series.
