| Obverse description | Uncrowned draped bust of King John II Casimir Vasa facing right, with long flowing hair rendered in a baroque style. The effigy occupies the central field, with the legend surrounding the portrait along the coin's periphery. The inscription IOAN CAS REX T.L.B. identifies the ruler and his royal titles. The portrait is struck in relatively high relief for a copper schilling, typical of the Ujazdów mint's output of this period. |
