| Obverse description | Central field features the crowned royal cipher of Jan II Kazimierz Waza, comprising an interlaced monogram of the letters I, C, and R (Ioannes Casimirus Rex) beneath a royal crown adorned with fleurs-de-lis. The date 1650 is divided on either side of the monogram, with '16' to the left and '50' to the right. The coin was struck by hammering on a roughly prepared copper flan, resulting in an irregular planchet edge. No peripheral legend is present on this side. |

| Reverse description | The reverse displays the crowned eagle of Poland at center, rendered in a bold, somewhat crude hammered style typical of mid-17th century copper coinage. The eagle is displayed with wings spread, its head turned to the right, and a shield on its breast. A circular Latin legend surrounds the design, reading SOLIDVS REG POLO (Solidus Regni Poloniae — Shilling of the Kingdom of Poland), broken by the eagle's wings and crown. The overall strike is moderately well-centered with typical flatness in the high-relief areas. |
