Obverse description Central field dominated by the crowned royal cypher of Jan II Kazimierz Waza, formed by interlaced letters beneath a open royal crown with orb finial. The date digits '52' (for 1652) appear within the cypher. A circular Latin legend surrounds the central device, reading ICR 5 2 IOA CAS DG R POL, abbreviated for Ioannes Casimirus Dei Gratia Rex Poloniae. The flan shows typical roller-milled characteristics with slightly irregular edges.

Reverse description Central field depicts the Pahonia (Vytis), the armoured knight on horseback charging to the right, the dynastic symbol of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, enclosed within a plain inner circle. Above the knight, a small crown surmounts the circle. Below the horse, the mintmaster's mark appears in the lower field. The surrounding circular Latin legend reads SOLIDVS M DVC LIT, abbreviated for Solidus Magni Ducatus Lithuaniae, identifying the denomination and issuing authority.
