| Obverse description | Central field features the interlaced royal cypher of Augustus III (AR monogram) surmounted by a royal crown, rendered in an elaborate calligraphic style. The regnal numeral III appears incorporated within the monogram design. The date 1753 is divided by the monogram, with '17' to the left and '53' to the right. The coin is struck within a beaded border. No peripheral legend is present on this face. |

| Reverse description | The reverse displays a three-line inscription in bold capital letters reading SOLID. / CIVTAT. / GEDAN., identifying this as a solidus (schilling) of the City of Gdańsk. Below the inscription, the mint master's initials W and G flank a central symbol, likely an anchor or city arms mark, all contained within a beaded border. Small trefoil or clover ornaments appear above the legend at the top of the field. The lettering is characteristic of mid-18th century Polish municipal coinage. |
