Obverse description Central field depicts the Polish eagle displayed, with wings spread and head turned to the right, set within a beaded inner circle surmounted by a crown. The eagle is rendered in the late Gothic style typical of Jagiellonian coinage. A circular legend in uncial Latin letters runs along the outer border, reading KASIMIRVS R POLONI, referencing Casimir IV Jagiellon as King of Poland. The overall composition is characteristic of hammered silver coinage of the period.
