| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central field entirely occupied by a multiline Arabic inscription arranged in horizontal registers within a partial inner circle, consistent with standard Ottoman sultani reverse design. The legend bears the regnal formula and invocatory text typical of Murad III coinage struck at the Misr mint. The bold, deeply struck calligraphy fills the flan to its irregular margins, leaving little open field. The hammered planchet imparts a characteristic uneven surface texture around the edges. The overall style conforms to the established die typology for Ottoman Egyptian gold coinage of the late tenth Hijri century. |
