| Obverse description | Hammered gold flan bearing a three-line Arabic tughra-style inscription within the field, reading 'Sultan Suleiman Shah / ibn Selim Shah Khan / 'Azza Nasruhu' (May his victory be glorified). The calligraphy is executed in a fluid, interlacing Thuluth script characteristic of early Ottoman gold coinage, filling the entire coin face. The irregular flan edges and slightly uneven strike are typical of hammered Ottoman sultani production. No border or decorative frame is present, with the inscription occupying the full field. |

| Reverse description | Hammered gold reverse bearing a four-line Arabic inscription filling the field, comprising the Islamic shahada followed by the mint and date formula: 'La ilaha illa Allah / Muhammad rasul Allah / Duriba Mawsil / 926' (AH). The mint name Mosul (Mawsil) and the AH date 926, corresponding to 1520 CE, appear in the lower lines. The calligraphy is rendered in characteristic Ottoman Thuluth script with interlacing strokes. The strike is slightly off-center, consistent with hammered coinage of this period, with no surrounding border. |
