Obverse description Hammered gold flan bearing a three-line Arabic tughra-style inscription within the field, reading 'Sultan Suleiman Shah / ibn Selim Shah Khan / 'Azza Nasruhu' (May his victory be glorified). The calligraphy is executed in a fluid, interlacing Thuluth script characteristic of early Ottoman gold coinage, filling the entire coin face. The irregular flan edges and slightly uneven strike are typical of hammered Ottoman sultani production. No border or decorative frame is present, with the inscription occupying the full field.
