Obverse description Hammered gold flan bearing multiple lines of Arabic calligraphic legend in the tughra-derived Ottoman style, filling the field with the Sultan's titles and regnal formulae. The inscription is arranged in horizontal registers separated by a ruled line, with additional text in the lower segment. The legends are executed in a bold, fluid hand typical of Aleppo mint production of the early seventeenth century. The coin's irregular flan exhibits typical characteristics of Ottoman hammered coinage, with a dotted border partially visible along the rim.
